Together they graciously agreed to share a glimpse into their Indian heritage sharing the joy of Ayurvedic cooking, and how to make some of their favorite summer recipes with us. In this intimate class we will learn how to create the following.

  • Bitter guard (Karela) sabji 
  • Traditional mung lentil soup 
  • Baby onion pickle 
  • Indian wheat bread (roti) 
  • Neembu Shikanji - an 'ayurvedic electrolyte' drink
  • Gulkand - Ayurvedic rose petal delicacy

Join us for an intimate experience for cooking Indian food with Indu & Rani (Indu's Mom). Experience some of their summer favorite recipes to nourish the senses and the soul during the summer (Pitta) season.

Included in the experience a welcome drink and Indian snacks as well as an opportunity to taste the menu as we learn how to prepare and make the recipes--it will not be full sit down meal as we will use our time together to learn from two cooking masters how to incorporate the six tastes and honor the season of summer. You will leave with recipes to create this in your own home.
